I received a demand (and mobile fone calls aplenty)from a DCA acting on behalf of a bank. This alleged debt originates from the late 1990's. Having researched and acted through various websites I was recommended...

If a default notice has been issued and subsequently the account is terminated, can it be argued to any effect at a later date if the creditor then agrees that a) the default amount was incorrect b) payment of the requested amount... -

The title says what I mean, I think... I requested a cca from one DCA but have since had a letter from another DCA for the same alleged debt and no response as yet from the first one...
