    Look out the window westerly direction, put finger (wet) up in the air if the winds/breeze is from southwest, and moves to westerly direction = Rain.

      I use this one--> TheWeatherOutlook – weather forecasts and data


      Far more accurate than the met office especially long range...

        I use MetCheck , its about as reliable as the rest

            As we say in Darzet, If you carnt see the top of them their hills ower yondar, It's Raining.

            Seriously, if I need to know what the weathers doing, I study the met office satellite pictures for a few days. When you know what to look for in the clouds and how fast the weather is travelling, you can make your own assessment. Always worked for me when I used to run outdoor adventure courses.
