  • My first time experience online shopping

    Hi,

I order many times in Studio Catalogue and all their product are very nice but this is my first time, I waited so long on delivery and kept checking my phone. Apparently my order whilst they delivered was damaged (it was towels) paid in full so asked for it to be resent A WARNING to you all they won’t resend until THEY get the damaged stock back ,THEY won’t refund until they get it back even when you the customer have done nothing to create this problem. It is your right as a customer to be reimbursed for the products not received.

Just saying to make everyone aware,

    Thanks

    Good morning,

It is stated in their T&C that damaged goods must be returned for refund or exchange, also missing parcels will be raised with the carrier and claimed off them (insurance) if they cannot proove they were delivered, ie no signiture,

so you cannot complain as when you place an order you are agreeing to their T&C.

    Please enjoy your weekend

From what you say you didn't receive the goods because they were damaged in transit.

It appears Studio Catalogue are not willing to replace/resend the goods (or refund you) until they receive back the original package from the courier, or whomever damaged the goods, notwithstanding the fact that they know you haven't (and never will) received them.

I suggest you raise this as a formal complaint. Here is Studio Catalogue's Complaints Procedure which allows you to escalate your complaint to the FOS if it is not resolved > https://support.studio.co.uk/s/artic...mplaint-Studio

How much was the order? If it was £100 or more then you can also utilise s75 Consumer Credit Act if you paid online with a credit card and the dispute isn't resolved by Studio Catalogue. Here's some information on s75 CCA > https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rig...mer-credit-act
