    And you should be proud to as well - ignore the idiots of the world, they clearly have no idea what it symbolises.

            The poppy on the logo looks really good.

            I wear my poppy with pride and I also have one on my car.

            A Poem for Remembrance Day

            "The inquisitive mind of a child"

            Why are they selling poppies, Mummy?
            Selling poppies in town today.
            The poppies, child, are flowers of love.
            For the men who marched away.

            But why have they chosen a poppy, Mummy?
            Why not a beautiful rose?
            Because my child, men fought and died
            In the fields where the poppies grow.

            But why are the poppies so red, Mummy?
            Why are the poppies so red?
            Red is the colour of blood, my child.
            The blood that our soldiers shed.

            The heart of the poppy is black, Mummy.
            Why does it have to be black?
            Black, my child, is the symbol of grief.
            For the men who never came back.

            But why, Mummy are you crying so?
            Your tears are giving you pain.
            My tears are my fears for you my child.
            For the world is forgetting again

              I always lose paper poppies, so I buy a bracelet, lapel pin and broach from the legion every year.

                  Re: Poppies

                  Love the poppy on the logo.

                  Have a sparkly brooch which I bought from M&S (I do donate to the British Legion poppy-sellers every year) when they were selling them to commemorate the 100 anniversary of World War I. I remember wearing it when I went to see the poppies at the Tower of London - an experience I will never forget. I also have one of the ceramic poppies in a vase on my sideboard - wish I had bought an extra one for my grand-daughter, who loves it. She is going to have to wait until my demise before it becomes hers!

                  I always watch the Service of Remembrance from the Royal Albert Hall (have been there a few times, but never to this event) It will be even better tonight as Alfie Boe is singing - I just love his voice!

                          For the Fallen
                          By Laurence Binyon

                          With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
                          England mourns for her dead across the sea.
                          Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
                          Fallen in the cause of the free.

                          Solemn the drums thrill; Death august and royal
                          Sings sorrow up into immortal spheres,
                          There is music in the midst of desolation
                          And a glory that shines upon our tears.

                          They went with songs to the battle, they were young,
                          Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
                          They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted;
                          They fell with their faces to the foe.

                          They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
                          Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
                          At the going down of the sun and in the morning
                          We will remember them.

                          They mingle not with their laughing comrades again;
                          They sit no more at familiar tables of home;
                          They have no lot in our labour of the day-time;
                          They sleep beyond England's foam.

                          But where our desires are and our hopes profound,
                          Felt as a well-spring that is hidden from sight,
                          To the innermost heart of their own land they are known
                          As the stars are known to the Night;

                          As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
                          Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain;
                          As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
                          To the end, to the end, they remain.
                          It's taken years of hard work to earn the capital N in Numpty
