    Some time ago I left a post on a diary listing the catalogue of letters I’d received from Lowell’s after they bought a couple of alleged HSBC debts. While it was done half in jest at the time with the suggestion that they could be used for a game of ‘DCA Bingo’, it was also done with the thought that it may be useful for some forum members to see where they might be in the threat process.

    I can no longer find that post, so in case people do find it useful I’ve listed them below.

    Your set might be different, but finding out is half the fun.

    I've had 33 variants from Lowell between May '23 and July '24, so proceedings might not be as urgent as they'd like us to believe. I may add more DCAs if the mood takes me.

        It’s interesting how, over the years the language has changed. Looking back they used to say we will xxx to now it is we may. Not sure why that is but I suspect the FOS or someone has made changes.

              Here are mine from Lowell regarding an alleged M&S debt they took over in early 2023 (these all came via email, and often tangible copies via snail mail too).

              Edited to add that I recognise several headings from Night Monkey's OD letter bingo in Post 2, but have either deleted the emails or the paper versions are safely tucked away in a draw upstairs.

              Edited on 12 October, 2024 to add some titles from emails that have appeared since my last post. Snail mail has slowed considerably of late, think the last one was a discount offer for the several alleged debts they own, albeit legal action on one was abandoned due to lack of DN - hence no chance I'm paying a % on that one!
