    Re: Pixie's UE diary

Just had a giggle - got a 'card' today (bit like payslips with perforations on 3 sides) from Lloyds TSB saying that their representative would be calling my home on 15th December - obviously they didn't allow for the Christmas post! Also got a letter from them dated 11th December saying that they were removing my number from their system. I didn't get a phone call or a visit from them on the 15th iggy :teeth :bert

I've also got a letter from power2contact re LTSB so I'll send the sold while in dispute letter.

edit - just read the power2contact letter propery and it says that if I don't contact LTSB within 3 working days from the date of the letter (dated 14/12 so that'll be by today then!) they'll send one of their 'Resolution Officers' to visit me at my address. I think I'll send them an amalgamated sold while in dispute/threat of doorstep visit letter.

*Resolution Officer - not heard that one before! Another name for a :zoot thug
Maybe I'll get into the Christmas spirit and offer him a mince pie - through the letter box!

          Re: Pixie's UE diary

          In today's post:-

Notice of Action from Debt Managers on behalf of Barclaycard - will send 'account sold while in dispute' letter.

Snotty letter from Greens saying that they haven't yet received full instructions (so they were just issuuing threats ) and I should note from their previous letter that any response should have been directed to Triton. epe :kermit :zoot
They have passed my letter on and Triton will reply direct. I think they already have! Will ignore.

Notice of Default from Capital One - will ignore.

*edit - just looked at previous letter from Greens (on cream, 'laid' paper, recent letter on cheap photocopier paper). It says that I should send payment or acceptable proposals for repayment to Triton - doesn't say anything about who to write to to tell them to get lost!

                  Letters received today:

GE Money - asking me to ring one of their customer services advisors. Going to ignore. Wish they'd get a move on and sell it on like they threatened ages ago.

Lloyds TSB - Default Notice Ignore

Santander (Asda cc) Aplogising because an error when they were changing their systems meant that they'd charged interest but they'll remove it on my next statement. I haven't paid them for months (though they are being very reasonable and it's an enforceable account.)

Letter today from Westcott (re MBNA credit card) saying that their client, Arrow Global, said that I need to make my request for a copy of the opening agreement and a statement of the account direct to themselves.

I'd received a letter on 4th November from Arrow Global saying that MBNA had assigned all of its respective rights, title and interest in my account to them and all payments and correspondence should be sent to Westcott.

I sent the 'account sold while in dispute' letter to both Westcott and Arrow Global on 5th November but I haven't received anything from Arrow Global.

Surely I don't need to make a cca request to Arrow Global and I can just ignore? The 'agreement' MBNA sent was UE. :beaker :fozzie :bunsen

                            Hiya

No you do not need to send another CCA Request off, however it could be worthwhile doing it cos it does buy you time, and stop them from attempting to get "heavy"

It's really up to you, either ignore them or send another CCA off to annoy them.

Received two 'nice' letters this morning - unfortunately both from enforceable cards.

First is from Santander (Asda credit card - amount outstanding approx £3500). Saying that I've failed to make the agreed payments towards the concessionary arrangement on my account. TBH they have been quite good - I was making £1 per month token payments until August and they aren't charging interest. Not sure whether to start paying again but they will probably start adding interest soon or whether to continue to ugnore them in the hope that they will sell on to dca and then maybe I might be in a position to make a F&F.

Second is from Rockwell's re M&S credit card. Calling their bluff didn't work for very long They say that M&S say that they have sent full cca documents in October and they now require my 'firm and realistic repayment proposals' and have put the account on hold for 14 working days to allow me time to respond. As I'm still unemployed I don't really have any repayment proposals but I've read that M&S are pretty keen on going for ccjs.
