      MBNA card update

      Hiya all, like other fellow posters, I too have received today a notice of assignment from MBNA with a letter from Arrow Global also enclosed. Arrow have said that Fredricksons will be looking after the account. I find this quite a strange move as fredricksons were involved with this account back in July last year at which point I sent them the 'no CCA' template with a copy of a letter from MBNA confirming this. I didn't hear any further from them after that.

      Because dca's are all run by muppets, they probably won't even realise that they have had this account before😏

      I will wait to see what they send if anything

        I am fully expecting to have a letter on my dormat this week then after seeing all these mbna accounts being moved on.

          Yep, agreed - see what they say next
          I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

Standard letter it seems 'instructed by client to request immediate settlement', 'contact them', 'Do not ignore', 'MAY result in legal action'

            Should i start out with 'Account sold' template??

            After ignoring Regals 1st letter, their 2nd has arrived today, basically says:

            'No reason for non payment' 'client has advised them to collect amount in full' ' contact them to discuss' 'if we do not receive contact we will be instructing ScotCall to visit you'

            Is now the right time to send the Account sold template merged with threat of door step visit??

They have been in touch with TSB who have said that they have never received a CCA request from me and gives me 14 days to resend with the £1 fee to obtain one I find it funny that it reaches a 3rd DCA before TSB ask me to request a CCA again Below is a timeline for this account that shows all correspondence between, myself, TSB and DCA's.


              01.06.10: CCA/default letter sent for TSB loan
              22.06.10: Sent another CCA request to TSB Loan.
              03.07.10: Received postal order back from TSB loan no CCA though, Niddy advises to stop paying and ignore them for now
              19.07.10: Sent CCA dispute cease & desist letter to TSB loan
              09.08.10: TSB Loan sent my chq back still no CCA recieved
              15.09.10: TSB Loan statement recieved!
              10.11.10: Income & expenditure form received
              17.12.10: Letter from Moorcroft DCA reveived 'threat of litigation'
              21.12.10: Sent threat of litigation letter to Moorcroft
              05.01.11: Account on hold letter received from Moorcroft
              09.05.11: Letter from robinson way demanding payment
              10.05.11: account sold letter sent to Robinson Way
              15.05.11:You have not paid letter from Robinson way
              20.05.11: Account on hold letter from Robinson Way saying they have requested the agreement from TSB
              24.06.11: Letter from Robinson Way saying they are still awaitng information from TSB
              29.07.11: Letter from Robinson Way saying that they have passed account back to TSB
              18.11.11: 1st Letter received from Wescot (notice of debt collection) Ignored
              29.11.11: Final notice letter from Wescot
              05.12.11: Account sold letter to Wescot
              16.12.11: Account on hold letter whilst they investigate from Wescot
              20.12.11: Wescot letter stating that TSB have not received a CCA request and to resend enclosing a £1 Gives me 14 days to respond.

              Not sure what to send back if anything??

                  Well TSB have wasted no time in appointing DCA number 4. I have received a letter from iQor recovery specialists ltd (anyone had dealings with these)? Basically says I need to contact them or they MAY start legal action, MAY send a debt collector to recover the debt personally!!

                  Should I send the account sold and doorstep visit template merged together?

                        They did the same with me, only Bagshot Bums (I see you're calling them by the same name I chose to call them ) didn't WARN me about ScotCall, they just got them on the case after my last Niddy template.

                        When I got the above from ScotCall I sent them the combo you mention above, i.e. 'Account Sold in Dispute' and "Leave my doorstep alone'. The dropped the case like a hot potato!

                        The very same day they got the 2 letters they replied to me saying "We enclose paperwork for an account we are no longer dealing with". The enclosures were photocopies of my two letter templates above!

                        Scotcall are cowardly little chickens! They returned the account to 'their client' (Bagshot Bums ) and that's the last I heard from that lot! :

                        After ignoring Regal Credits 1st and 2nd letters a 3rd one has arrived today, basically saying 'you have ignored are attempts to contact you' 'we are going to advise are field agents to visit you'.

                        One line that did make me laugh though was them asking my permission to visit me at my place of work

                        Now is the time for me to send off the account sold/doorstep merged template, me thinks.
