On a credit card account does anyone recall when the card companies stopped using any payments into an account to pay down the lowest interest rate first??
I know now they have to pay the highest interest rate off first in an account which has differing rates.
Seem to remember dimly a regulator? or parliment? getting involved and forcing the companies to do this as it was seen as a con on their part.
Not really a specific date or account just a more of about which year did it happen or did I just dream it.
