    Re: Help with Cabot

I really hope they don't apply for a CCJ either - Being so close to SB it would be a real arse.

If they do start the process, would I be able to make them an offer to stop it happening?

I hope your dad is ok Spent2much.

Send a cca request - section 1 - starting out

I think this is the one - http://www.all-about-debt.co.uk/inde...22-cca-request Do we need to send the £1 fee again?

I bet we're not the only ones going to be sending that off to them tomorrow.

                    Re: Help with Cabot

Recently received a couple of the Marlin letters (same as posted on the thread) one notifying me of a change (perhaps the weather?). Default dropped off the file a while back so may be chancing their luck but hoping I didn't agree to something in the last six years or so as went through a bad debt patch...

                      Re: Help with Cabot

I feel slightly better that this is a standard letter they send out - It just looked more personal to me than most of the letters they send.

Let's wait and see what their next step is - If you're already SB I you're home and dry

I need the CCA request to halt them and shut them up we have another 4.5 years before SB and we certainly don't want to start paying them anything gggrrrrr

                              Re: Help with Cabot

well i just checked RM and my CCA request letter was delivered yesterday .
The letter Marlin sent was dated 29th April and a threat of advising creditor to take legal action within 7 days of the date of the letter if an agreeable payment plan is not reached .

If this includes weekends then the 7 days are up , they received my CCA request yesterday 7th May , so wonder what they make of that ?

We'll have to wait and see...

I have not posted mine as yet as I have not had chance to get the postal order. Maybe I will wait and see what they do next...
