Had call from the Ombudsman today...
They told me i had no grounds for complaint re. HFC not providing me with a credit agreement.
Ok, i accept that...but then this self righteous t***** tried to lecture me on debt avoidance...

I made the point that i am repaying every creditor that has provided me with an agreement, and i needed something from HFC to find out what we signed up for.

IN THE END I TOLD THEM TO STUFF IT!!!

I would put in a formal complaint, that the Ombudsman had spoken to you outside his/her remit and that it showed basis and lack of netural position in this matter.

I remember putting in a complaint to FOS regards HFC regarding a credit agreement (amongst other things)

I recall that they asnwered most of my complaint, but with regards to CCA said it was not something they could comment on in detail, as it was outside of their remit, but they could see sense in the arguments I had raised, and directed me to seek advice form "specialist solicitors"

I would agree with mgfboy, CCA is outside of their remit, and they shouldnt be giving an opinion on the matter. I would further complain that they have labelled you a debt dodger - even if you were not paying, they do not have the right to their personal opinion when giving a reponse in a professional capacity.

outside their remit as without seeing an actual CCA1974 in question they could not answer, but of course it is a matter for a judge, = gobblygook

Still put in a complaint to those wankers, you never know if enough do it, it might make a difference and we might actual get some netural ombudsman.

Also very impressed you got to talk to one , mind wouldn't speak to me!!!!
