  • Any suggestions please?

I have just one a CRA check. Any suggestions on the following please?

    1. LTSB defaulted in 2003, an arrangement to pay which was maintained.
2010 they withdraw the arrangement and show the account as defaulted. Surely as the original default was never cleared they cannot default again.

    2. Cabot bought cc in 2007 and registered a default on an already defaulted card. Still being recorded as a default.
However in 2011 they gained a CCJ which is not entered. Where should I find the CCJ? This is Equifax, do I need to pay Experian (already had my freebie) or should the same information be on both?
At a guess I'm better off having the default than the CCJ!

    1. No. The entry should have disappeared after 6yrs of default date so 2009. However if they accepted an arrangement and that completed; they cannot default you. They can if you broke the arrangement but not if you maintained it. You complain to the cra direct explaining the A/P was successfully completed thus it should show as settled not defaulted. However as they already defaulted in 2003 that's it. The original default date which stands.

It's upto the cra to fix this as they are data processor.

    2. Complain about the double default, they cannot do this. The original default date must stand, as they obtained ccj on the back of a bad DN I'd speak to Paul about the ramifications for ccj removal.

You find ccj's on trust online.org It costs a tenner I think.

So the CCJ won't show up on CRA reports?

Not always no. It's unreliable at best. You use trust online.

Next question in my ignorance, when credit checks are made o they always use trust online?

Can I clarify please (sorry). The arrangement was ended by unilaterally by LTSB. i could not afford the new payments which is why etc etc. Would that count as a default for registering?

It's built in to their scoring process. Yes it'll be found. No hiding from it.

No. One debt = one default. This was in 03 so should be removed as at 2009.
