Olympic ticketholders are being warned against using pre-paid cards when the Games kick-off on Friday. Anyone whose debit or credit card does not bear the Visa logo has a simple choice: take cash or load money onto a pre-paid card. This is because Olympic venues will not accept any other type of card, including Maestro, American Express or Mastercard.
