The majority of credit card holders in the UK are paying less of their outstanding balance than at any time in the last two years, according to research. Figures from analytics firm FICO show a decline in payment-to-balance ratios on classic card accounts. Classic cards exclude student cards, premium cards and cards issued in Ireland, which are all tracked separately.
